Un peu après midi 30, samedi, 29 août 2009, un accident qui aurait pu avoir de graves répercussions, est survenu alors que la Fête Eau Lac battait son cours au parc des Eaux-Fraîches.
Une douzaine de jeunes qui se promenaient à bord d'une calèche tirée par deux poneys ont vécu une expérience traumatisante, lorsque les deux poneys se sont emballés après avoir éjecté le conducteur, un homme de 45 ans. Le malheureux a eu la jambe gauche arrachée et a dû être amputé.
9 enfants ont subi des blessures. La présence d'esprit du propriétaire des poneys a permis d'éviter le pire. Les 9 enfants sont maintenant en bonne santé.
Je veux saluer l'intervention des citoyens du secteur dont celle de M. Marcel Denis, qui a certainement sauvé la vie du conducteur.
J'aimerais aussi remercier mon fils Olivier et Daniel Bédard qui sont allés chercher à la course toute la glace disponible sur le site de la Fête Eau Lac dans des bacs pour y mettre la jambe coupée afin de la protéger jusqu'à son transport à l'hôpital.
Une enquête est en cours pour savoir ce qui s'est passé et j'ai bien hâte d'en avoir les conclusions.

Bravo Jacques Teasdale d'avoir osé aborder un sujet si difficile et si délicat. Et vous l'avez fait! Bien des gens auraient évité d'en parler, c'est plus facile et surtout moins engageant.
Mais la vie n'est pas faite que de fêtes et de joies, il y a malheureusement des accidents.
Un homme hier a eu la jambe coupée pourquoi, comment? L'enquête nous en dira plus. Mais au moins cet homme a évité que les enfants soient blessés. Cet homme-là il ne faut pas l'oublier.
Et bravo à M. Marcel Denis, son sang-froid est remarquable même si je sais qu'aujourd'hui il se pose des questions.

Tout cela est sous enquête. J'attends avec impatience le résultat de l'enquête, comme bien des gens
Bien des questions peuvent être posées.
Il faisait frais et presque froid. Les poneys étaient en super forme et fringands. L'attelage posait sûrement problème.
L'enquête est en route. Qui est en faute? Je pense que même si l'enquête donne son «diagnostic», pour moi cela restera toujours un accident, un concours de circonstances.
Et c'est ce que l'on appelle un accident!
Pensez un peu des poneys, ce ne sont pas des chevaux, un terrain plat c'est un terrain plat et un conducteur qui a probablement eu une faiblesse.
Allez savoir. Même si la carriole avait été mal attachée, rien n'explique ça.
Toujours pas de nouvelles sur cet accident. Les journalistes toujours en quête de nouvelles ne parlent même pas du conducteur.
Est-ce qu'il ne veut pas parler? Mais de toute façon, il devra répondre pour l'enquête.
Je me pose bien des questions mais il faut dire que les élections municipales ne sont pas loin.

Au perplexe, j'ai envie de lui dire que tout va vite trop vite comme le moulin à images qui nous faisait parler et qui est remplacé aujourd'hui par le moulin à paroles qui nous rappelle des images.
D'après moi le moulin à paroles aurait du s'arrêter à la période de Duplessis avant d'essayer de nous montrer ou parler de choses qui ne sont pas encore digérées et à peine comprises. Et je dis bien montrer parce rien qu'en entendant les paroles des felquistes, tout le monde revoit les images. Et quand je pense qu'on ne peut même plus reconstituer une bataille qui a eu lieu il des dizaines de générations, il faudrait aujourd'hui entendre, non voir, des images d'hier?
Et même si c'est vrai que cela fait partie de l'histoire, c'est trop tôt pour être capable de comprendre et accepter. À l'école, oui! Oui parce que cela fait partie de ce que les étudiants doivent assimiler, garder en mémoire. Dans le public, à travers tous les médias, non c'est trop vite parce que cela heurte trop de gens qui ont été touchés par cette crise.
Même si Labeaume s'en sert pour se faire bien valoir et le gouvernement provincial s'en sert aussi pour la même raison, ils ont bien raison. Pourquoi mettre le feu aux poudres.
C'est curieux les péquistes n'émettent aucune opinion. Ils ne peuvent pas et on comprend pourquoi.
